PARS enables the boxers, the coaches, the business owners and researchers to maximize the benefits of exercise as therapy in their fight against Parkinson's. The app does so many things for our members:
- Manages the assessment process including scheduling, reminders, scripted assessments, an aerobic and neurobic interactive exercise planner, easy-to-understand scoring, a comprehensive Boxer Assessment Report, the BAR that can be emailed to the boxer.
- Provides a professional Boxer Assessment Report with trends for each element elevating the value and professionalism of your assessments. Assessments are now a valuable service and income stream. Your Boxers can't get anything similar from anyone else, not even their neurologist.
- A normalized easy-to-understand-and-explain 100-point scoring system. Coaches, boxers and their families can review the assessment reports together and everyone is on the same page. Coach/Boxer consultations are more productive and informative.
- Your Boxers will be part of a long-term, large-scale national research project. (They can opt out) The PARS App stores its data in the cloud in a centralized database for anytime, anywhere access.

Exclusive offerings for your clients
The only place your Boxers can get a professional, comprehensive assessment every 3 or 6 months using 100-point easy-to-understand scoring is from a BwP member.
The only place they can find an interactive aerobic and neurobic exercise planner is from a BwP member. Not from their yoga or Tai Chi instructor. Not from their cycling for Parkinson's instructor. Not from BIG. Not from their neurologist. Not from their physical therapist.
The Boxer Assessment Report is a very big deal. Once your coaches and Boxers see the report and everything it covers, they'll wonder how they got along without it. It includes all the important information that previously was hidden in manila folders. It lays things out in a straight forward manner making it easy to read and understand. It takes the information from the RSB assessment paperwork, adds high value elements, scores everything and provides a trend analysis so your coaches and the Boxer can see where they are stronger or where they are losing ground. Your Boxer's information is in the cloud, available anytime from anywhere! Take a few minutes to study the report and you'll agree... it is a big deal.
You love your Boxers and would do this for free... If life didn't require you to pay rent. This is a business. BwP wants to help you increase your revenue.
The first revenue enhancer is the Boxer Assessment Report making assessments a profit center for your business. The report brings credibility to your assessments and is a deliverable for your Boxers. It is a service they can not get anywhere else. It shows them how they are doing in ways even their neurologist can't. And they will pay for it.
- Examine what you currently charge for assessments and compare that to the BwP enhanced assessment with a comprehensive report. If you charged $50 before, charge $75 now. Your price should include your coach's time and a fair margin for you plus a small lift to cover Boxers who can't afford the assessment fees. Your Boxers will agree it is worth it.
- If a Boxer can't afford to pay for assessments, have a courtesy or scholarship plan. In your assessment price, include a 15% lift to cover 1 in 8 Boxers who cant afford the assessment fees. Everyone gets their assessments.
- If you didn't charge for assessments before, start now. You are leaving money on the table for a valuable service that your Boxers will be glad to pay for.
- If you were doing annual assessments go to a 6-month schedule to double your income.
- Offer Boxers a 3-month assessment program. As a Parkie myself, I will gladly pay for 3-month assessments. I don't want to wait 6 months to find out I'm losing ground in some area. If 25% of your Boxers choose 3-month assessments, that's a 35% increase in income.
Many gyms are for-profit and would like to keep Boxer fees low by taking advantage of grants and donations. By becoming a BwP Chapter, you can take advantage of 501c3 fundraising and grants. This is a great opportunity to include a silent auction with your March open house. You can also apply for grants from regional Parkinson's foundations and even local Rotary and Kiwanis clubs.
BwP is planning additional income opportunities in the future.

- How your Boxer results compare to the national averages
Data that will help you mange your business, your coaches, and take care of your Boxers.
