In a typical research project, controlled consistency and predictability are key.  We have an imperfect sampling base.

  1. There is no control group.  This is not a double blind study where we control everything.
  2. Our Boxers are on meds.  Most of them.  Not all them.  Not the same meds.  Not the same doses.  For those who are, we are not measuring the impact of PD on them in their natural state, but we are measuring them in their altered state.  And if they change meds frequently, both which meds they take and dosages, then we are measuring their altered altered state.
  3. PD Boxers tend to be middle to upper class PDers.  Where are the low income fighters?

If you are an independent gym owner or a RSB affiliate delivering boxing-themed exercise therapy for Parkinson's, then you are doing good.  How much good?  How do you know?  Wouldn't it be nice to be able to say "Tracking over 2,000 boxers over the last year tells us ..."  Statistical case studies over hundreds or even thousands of boxers.  Not antidotal stories about one boxer.

If member gym owners and RSB affiliates are going to carry the financial freight, what is in it for you?  Great question.  Here's the answer.

Many RSB affiliates operate more than one location.  PARS allows a member to manage multiple locations accessible with one log in.  The affiliate and coaches can move between locations quickly from the Boxer Directory page.  The member can change between all authorized locations in an instant.  Coaches can view the locations they are authorized to view... just one, specific gyms or all gyms.

You can also move Boxers from one location to another.  If the from and to locations are part of your affiliate family, you can assign Boxes to a different location right on the Boxer's Personal Information page.  If the from and to locations are from different affiliates, then we can move the Boxer for you. ......
